Welcome to the domaine de Surgy
In the Nièvre in the heart of Burgundy region, Surgy, situated 6 kms north of Clamecy, is bordered to the east by the Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne.
The commune of Surgy acquired the estate (country house, outbuildings and a 6000 m² park) in 1989. The renovation project was launched in 1996 and the work to transform the house into a gite and create a multi purpose hall in the outbuildings began in 1998.
The gite has been in service since april 2000 and has a « 3 épis » classification.
With a capacity to accomodate 35 people

Reception hall fully equiped to receive 100 people
In the building adjoining the gîte, called « the outbuildings », the reception hall of Domaine de Surgy has a surface area of 144 m² which can accommodate 100 people.
For the organization of your meetings, seminars, congresses, courses, weddings, communions, meals, evenings, stays, weekends, the room is at your disposal.
It has VTHR (High Resolution Video Transmission) equipment, 14 round tables for a maximum of 6 people and 25 rectangular tables for 6 to 8 people.
